Epic week at AirVenture 2019!

The Old Green Plane crew traveled to Oshkosh, Wisconsin and the EAA AirVenture 2019 with 600,000+ of our newest friends.

Rolling in before most on Friday to a monsoon of rain and weather, we set up camp in the OGP ground support RV for a week of air shows, meet & greets and our official OGP launch party.

Highlights were many but in the end it was the amazing people we got to meet. Like Dennis and Roger our neighbors who gave us a tour of the air field before everyone else arrived.

Or our friends from Houston who arrived a few days into the trip and gave us a run for our money on cornhole.

Or our new friends, Kyle and Savannah who showed us the spirit of aviation is alive and well with a whole new generation of pilots.

Or Mike and the Anthony’s from the Animal Years who performed before The Fray at the Ford state on Monday during the kickoff concert. They melted our faces with popular songs like ‘Caroline’ and ‘Friends’ but it was Levi and Craig sprinting across the grounds to catch them that made that memory even better.

In the end, the OGP crew came and saw Oshkosh for all her glory and we can’t wait for 2020.
